Reason to have Fun... |
It’s been so long since I make a sensible post for my blog. I’m always busy with my task for PPC and I don’t really have time to write or should I say I don’t really know what to write.
I really hate it when my keywords for the PPC are like 800 or 1000! It’s really eating up my time doing the research and editing those keywords and destination URL’s that’s why sometimes I cannot even finish 2 keywords a day or that 1 keyword in particular.
Last night I stayed till 8:18pm because we are required to have an OT since we have to make same changes in our PPC campaign. On my way home I was so hungry that I thought I’m having a headache.
But today is different and I think I’m bloated already. I ate cake from goldilocks and drink Milo for breakfast, at lunch we went to KFC and after lunch break our PPC Team had a meeting with the VP for marketing both here and in the US. After conducting meetings for different teams in marketing we had pizzas and ice cream! So yummy!
And since it’s Saturday and our VP in US is going back there, we are going to The Fort to have some fun!
What a nice weekend after all.

Happy talkie, talkie ... Visual Talking |
"What the heck are you saying?" Ever heard that before? Maybe Visual Talking can help. It's like the Twitter of PowerPoint presentations. Combine words and pictures to communicate -- it's that simple. In your user question please consider asking something about a current event and how/if VT would apply, e.g., "Should the Olympic athletes use VT to help communicate?" or "Now that Britney has her bod back, should we send her VT messages to get her to quit smoking?" or "Should Homeland security include VT as part of their interagency communications package?"

A Love Without Good-byes |
A Love Without Good-byes
A lifetime filled with cheating hearts, all echo from my past, The "promise trues" and "I love you’s," each one was meant to last. So fine this line of sharing, built with honesty and trust, Each vow now left inside my head, to slowly gather dust. I struggle to tomorrow, searching hope, yet walking blind, While broken dreams, and silent screams, play re-runs in my mind. I try to shake, each past mistake, and meet what lies ahead, While hearing cold reminders of these promises once said. It’s hard to feel, what’s wrong from real, when shadows dim the light, I close my eyes and dream a dream of heaven every night. Is all I know, this history I hold a guiding hand? These scars I show, a lesson that I yet don’t understand? Another day awaits me, in this life I call my own, A cruel delay frustrates me, as I face this world alone. Let words once said, and tears long shed, rest peaceful in this heart, I know the pain of love in vain, will always play its part. With open arms I welcome what new dreams that may arise, I only pray to find one day, a love without good-byes.

GladyGirl's Pimples |
Ahhhhh, I hate my pimples, 3 pimples to be exact!!! This is the first time for 29 yrs that I had actually a pimple that lasted for almost 2 months!
I’m not curing it since I just want them to fade away. But I’m beginning to feel sick and tired of these pimples.
Pimples, pimples go away…

10 Special Places to See Before You Die |
GladyGirl really loves to travel, in fact GladyGirl have been to Bohol (March) and Boracay (June) this year. And that I also want to travel abroad; the only problem is…money. Well, I don’t have that much money to afford traveling abroad anytime that I want. If I won in lotto maybe I will, lol. I also want to go to Maldives, Hawaii and Bali, Indonesia. Hope it will happen someday, I really want to go in Busuanga, Palawan, too. That will be my next destination or if not in Hong Kong. Traveling is nice and very educating at the same time and it is also a form of relaxation, too. So what are the top 10 special places to see before u die? 1. Italy — The exquisite Villa Farnesina in Rome, hidden away in the Trastevere district, with frescoes by Raphael. It is said that while he was painting the villa, Raphael had an affair with the daughter of a nearby baker, “La Fornarina,” who became the subject of one of his most celebrated and enigmatic portraits. Situated on the west bank of the Tiber River (its name means "Across the Tiber"), the charming medieval neighborhood of Trastevere is a wonderful place to stroll. And in the evening, eat at one of the restaurants in the marvelous Piazza di Santa Maria. 2. Australia — Arnhem Land. The Northern Territory is still chiefly populated by Australia’s Aboriginal people, who have inhabited this lonely expanse of outback for more than 40,000 years. During that time, they have left an astonishing legacy of rock art. Virtually every suitable flat surface has been painted, and the area is like a vast outdoor art gallery. 3. Peru — The Inca capital of Cuzco in the Andes. Largely destroyed by the Spanish conquistadores, its fabulous Coricancha, the golden Temple of the Sun, was incorporated into the Church of Santo Domingo. Centuries later, it was rediscovered, hidden beneath a few inches of stucco. The gold had gone, but much of the extraordinary and evocative structure remained intact. 4. France — The tiny village of Ste.-Anne-la-Palud on the windswept Breton coast. Surrounded by the remains of Hitler’s Atlantic Wall (built to defend against the Allied invasion), it overlooks a couple of miles of glorious ocean-swept sand. Less known than neighboring Normandy, Brittany has many long and scenic beaches, and the Atlantic yields some of the finest seafood to be found anywhere in the world. 5. England — The lovely, unspoiled Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall, with its mysterious 13th-century church of St. Just in Roseland. The hauntingly beautiful church is set just above a serene tidal creek and is ringed by subtropical gardens. In April, the rhododendrons and azaleas bloom in every imaginable shade of red and purple. 6. Indonesia — The extraordinarily dramatic and picturesque gorge of the turbulent Ayung River in Bali, near the highland town and artist colony of Ubud. Ten-thousand-foot volcanoes survey a landscape of lush rice terraces. Balinese religion and mythology have constructed a vast and colorful spirit world. In the Ayung Gorge, even foreign visitors begin to sense the landscape’s invisible inhabitants. 7. Morocco — The road south from Marrakech, crossing the epic Tizi n'Test Pass in the Atlas Mountains then descending toward the fortified town of Taroudant at the gateway to the Sahara. The sinuous drive from the snowcapped peaks to rolling desert sands through small Berber villages is utterly spellbinding. 8. Namibia — The majestic valley of the Huab River, dominated by the huge massif of the Brandberg (the country’s highest mountain) and home to the famous desert elephant, which have provided endless opportunities for National Geographic’s photographers and filmmakers. More than twice the size of California, Namibia is an arid, sparsely populated country where savagely beautiful deserts extend to the breaking surf of the Skeleton Coast (named for the many shipwrecks caused by strong tides and ferocious winds). 9. Japan — The magical Zen garden of Ryoanji temple in Kyoto, constructed from weathered rocks and raked gravel. The capital of Japan from 794 until 1868, Kyoto is a treasure house of Japanese culture, with more than 2,000 temples and shrines. The garden dates to the late 1400s and contains 15 moss-covered stones, of which only 14 are visible at any one time. Only the enlightened can see all 15! 10. South Africa — The unbelievably pretty town of Franschhoek, founded in the 17th century by Huguenot (French Protestant) exiles. Just an hour’s drive from Cape Town, it is at the center of the South African wine industry. High, jagged mountains rear out of manicured vineyards. Even the inhabitants of Napa and Sonoma freely concede that the Franschhoek Valley is the most beautiful wine-growing area in the world. Well, these are just many of the few places that many of us wants to go. So what’s your choice? Four years ago someone promised me that we are going to the Eiffel Tower. I just hope that it will come true. You can read more of these here.

I Heart Cheesecakes! |
GladyGirl heart cheesecakes! Well, everyone does, right? Yummy. So let me give you a cheesecake recipe from Epicurious.com .
Toffee Crunch Caramel Cheesecake
Gingersnap crust Nonstick vegetable oil spray 1 1/2 cups ground gingersnap cookies (about 7 1/4 ounces) 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 2 tablespoons (packed) golden brown sugar Cheesecake 4 8-ounce packages cream cheese, room temperature 1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter, melted 5 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Caramel topping 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/4 cup water 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice 1 cup heavy whipping cream 4 1.4-ounce English toffee candy bars (such as Heath or Skor), chopped
Preparation:
For gingersnap crust:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 9-inch springform pan with 2 1/2-inch-high sides with nonstick spray. Stir ground cookies, butter, and sugar in medium bowl until moist clumps form. Press cookie mixture firmly onto bottom of prepared pan. Wrap outside of pan with 3 layers of heavy-duty foil. Bake crust until firm and beginning to darken, about 14 minutes. Cool crust. Maintain oven temperature. For cheesecake: Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Beat in butter, then eggs, 1 at a time, until just blended. Beat in vanilla. Pour batter over crust in pan. Place springform pan in large roasting pan. Add enough hot water to come halfway up sides of springform pan. Bake cake uncovered until filling is puffed around edges and moves slightly in center when pan is gently shaken, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Remove pan from water; remove foil. Place hot cheesecake uncovered in refrigerator overnight. For caramel topping:
Stir sugar, water, and lemon juice in large saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat; boil without stirring until mixture turns deep amber, occasionally swirling pan and brushing down sides with wet pastry brush, about 9 minutes. Add cream (mixture will bubble). Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer until reduced to 1 1/4 cups, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes. Chill until thickened but still pourable, about 15 minutes. Spoon caramel over top of cake just to edges (do not allow caramel to drip down sides). Garnish top edges with chopped English toffee. Chill at least 2 hours and up to 6 hours. Run knife around pan sides to loosen cake; release pan sides.

Talk it up! |
We wave our arms, we inflect our tone, we reach out, we open our eyes, we lean in ... we do a lot of things to get our message across ... and then when we send a text message we abbreviate -- "OMG PAW KYFC" ... does our real message, our real intent, really get across to our online friends?
They, (whomever 'They' are) say that a picture speaks a thousand words ... hmmmm, maybe if we could combine text and pics, our messages would be more complete ... and a lot more fun.
Is that what a movie producer does, takes a text message and adds pics? How often have you read a book, then seen a movie and come out of the movie saying "that's exactly what the author meant" ... or "not exactly" ... the written word is powerful in the hands of powerful writers, but even that is left open to our interpretation.

The Adorable Suri Cruise |
It makes GladyGirl happy every time she sees pictures of Suri Cruise. I don’t know why, well maybe because she is such a sweet and adorable baby…so beautiful, I just like her a lot. Sometimes she looks likes my younger sister Glazel when my sister is also at her same age.
I saw pictures of Suri again this time together with her mom, wherein she took Suri to the Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment complex for some trampoline lessons at their indoor playground.
Suri is so adorable in her green dress and not only that her nails are even painted with pink color!
More pictures of Suri here and here.

The Best Waterproof Digital Cameras |
I’ve been planning to buy a new digital camera. But this time I want it to be a waterproof or an underwater camera. I wanted to have one since I want to take pictures of myself and my friends while we are on beach or we are snorkeling. When we went to Boracay and we went snorkeling, we don’t really have a good shot while we are on the water since we are so afraid that our digicams get wet. Although I bought a water proof plastic for my camera but still it’s not enough. So now, I wanted to buy one but I don’t know which the best waterproof digital cameras are. Through searching on the net I found these top 4 Waterproof Digital Cameras for Underwater Photography. 1. Sea & Sea DX-1G Compact Digital 10.0 MP Camera and Underwater Housing SetThis is a serious underwater camera, featuring 10 megapixels, a polycarbonate underwater housing, and a "Sea and Sea" mode to optimize underwater digital photography. The camera also has some advanced features such as manual control over exposure and focus. It can also shoot video. 2. Intova IC-700 7.0MP Digital Camera with Underwater HousingThis underwater, waterproof digital camera kit provides a lot of megapixels and features in the under-$300 price range. It features 7 megapixels, and it is rated for photography underwater to a depth of 180 feet. It features macro mode, and a built-in flash that can reach up to five feet underwater. 3. Sealife SL320 Reef Master Mini Underwater Digital CameraThis compact, 8-ounce underwater digital camera is great for those seeking a lightweight and easy-to-use underwater camera. It features 6 megapixels, underwater exposure modes, and sea mode shutter speed range of 1/60th to 1/1000th of a second. It's rated to a depth of 130 feet. 4. VuPoint DC-WPC-ST531TBLK-VP Underwater Digital CameraRated up to 50 feet in depth, this camera features 5 megapixels and video capture. On the downside, it only features a digital zoom. You can shoot macro and control aperture settings. It's also one of the less expensive underwater digital cameras.
So guys want do you think is the best or do you know other brand or model that are good? Just leave your comments or suggestions. It would be a great help…tnx.
