Angelina Jolie as Catwoman? |
Angelina Jolie who just gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline will play the role of a Catwoman in the future Batman film.
Wow, that sounds promising right? I personally think that Angelina could play it well, knowing her personality and her sex appeal as well, she’s perfect for it! I even love her in Tomb Raider movies; hope she could make the Tomb Raider 3 soon.
Well it wasn’t confirmed yet and I guess we have to wait for that since the latest Batman is just in theaters now and Angelina has just given birth.
I will definitely watch this! I can't wait Angelina being a Catwoman. This will surely be a box-office hit.
Other actresses who played the role already are Eartha Kitt, Lee Meriwether, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.

Citizenship Marketplace |
This is a follow up to the "Citizenship For Sale?" conversation. In the first conversation, many folks were concerned about the morality of selling their own citizenship ... that concern is right on target and it was pleasant to see our dNeeroites question that possibility. However, Nobel Laureate Gary Becker's proposal has to do with the U.S. government selling the right to legal immigration. Can such a proposal work in the U.S. ... could it work for other countries? Can the law of supply and demand work to solve immigration problems?

A Very Refreshing Monday |
It's been raining these past few days/weeks actually but if you want to be refreshed with a very delicious drink then make this one. Blackberry Sangria
Ingredients
4 cups fresh blackberries 3/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 cups water 2 750-ml. bottles rosé wine 1 cup cognac 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice 3 cups sliced peaches and/or plums Fresh basil sprigs (optional)
Directions
1. For the syrup, in a medium saucepan* combine 2 cups of the berries, the sugar, water, and a dash of salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Strain through a colander, pressing gently without crushing the fruit; discard berries. Cool syrup. 2. For sangria, in a gallon jar or pitcher combine the blackberry syrup, rosé wine, cognac, lemon juice, fruit, and a few sprigs of basil, if desired. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours 3. Serve with ice, additional fruit, and basil. Makes 13 cups (26, four-oz. servings). 4. *Test Kitchen Tip: Use a nonreactive saucepan, such as Teflon-lined, enamel, stainless steel, or silver. The acid in the berries may react with metal.

Tips to Relax in the Workplace |
Just starting a week for work but I know that this will be a tiring and stressful week for me since a have a lot of tasks and quota to finish. So how can we really relax in our workplace despite of all our tasks, stress and all? If you want to do a good job at work, it’s imperative that you know how and when you should relax and give your mind and body much needed respite to face upcoming tasks. So let me give you tips on how to relax in the workplace. 1. Eat BreakfastRelaxation in the workplace is easier to accomplish with a full stomach. Power yourself up with breakfast before work. When you get to your office, your mind and body will be in a pleasant state that even the worst problems at work will have a hard time cracking. 2. Shake It OffRelaxation is often a mental practice rather than a physical one. If you feel your problems weighing on your shoulders, straighten your back and just shrug them off your shoulders. Imagine them falling away and you’ll put yourself in a better frame of mind. 3. Laugh AwayLaughter is still the best medicine. Even stress can be defeated with a laugh! 4. Yes to Punctuality and No to ProcrastinationOne excellent way of relaxing is by eliminating the causes of stress. Lack of punctuality as well as procrastination are two of the most common reasons for employees to experience stress and getting rid of them will not only keep your boss happy, but it can help you stay happy and healthy, too. Wake up earlier to get to work on time and if you have time to spare, try accomplishing other tasks because you might not have enough time to complete them tomorrow. 5. Buy a Nice, Comfy ChairOffice jobs generally require you to stay on your seat for a good part of the day. Sitting on an ugly and uncomfortable chair can only contribute to your stress, making it more difficult for you to relax when you need to. The solution here is simple: buy a new chair, and one you’ll feel right at home. Invest in something with the right type of back to keep yourself comfortable and cool at the same time. Go for padded seats for extra comfort and armrests. Finally, make sure the chair’s adjustable to suit your moods and needs. 6. Clean Up Your DeskThere are two ways that eliminating clutter can contribute to relaxation. Firstly, signs of clutter are generally perceived by the mind as a distraction and, at times, even an omen for more trouble at work. Banish them from your sight and you’ll relax more easily. Now, the act of clearing out clutter in itself can be just as relaxing. If you’re feeling particularly stressed, try to contribute a few minutes of your time to straightening your desk, even if the only thing you can do for now is arranging your papers and throwing out scraps. This is another symbolic procedure and wherein your mind equates throwing out rubbish to getting rid of your stress. 7. Wear HeadphonesUse it either to listen to relaxing music or block out ambient noise. Either way, it puts distractions at bay and enables you to work in a more conducive setting. 8. Use a Portable FanSometimes, your office’s ventilation system just isn’t enough to keep yourself comfortably cool. For such instances, have a portable fan ready. Switch it on when your body – and maybe your temper, too – need cooling. Close your eyes and enjoy the breeze. When you open your eyes, you’re sure to feel much better. 9. Have a Fountain NearbyIt doesn’t have to be exceptionally big or expensive. A simple one won’t cost you more than $20, and in return, you’ll be soothed by the pleasant sound of running water. Put it in use with your portable fan, and you can close your eyes and imagine you’re in the beach or cradled in Mother Nature’s arms somewhere else. 10. Read a Travel BookIt would be wonderful if you had the money, time, or ability to transport yourself to your dream destination for a few minutes to relax and unwind. And when you’re feeling calm, you can go back to work in a second and be more productive So what do you think about it? It helps right? Use these tips regularly to relax in the workplace and see your productivity skyrocket. See more of this here.

Starbucks Are Closing |
Whew…Starbucks are closing. Starbucks are now reporting that they are closing 600 U.S. stores…imagine that? 600 stores! Too many isn’t it? Those 600 U.S. stores are those locations that have unprofitable sales. I guess that lots of coffee lovers are not happy about this. But again maybe the reason why they are shutting down is that lots of them are not drinking lots of Starbucks coffee anymore because of the crisis going on. But most of all my heart goes to the employees that are loosing their jobs…whew...life. But then again somehow I’m relieved knowing that the Philippines are not included in the list since it’s only for the U.S. stores. Check here those 600 U.S. stores that are closing.

PPC Task |
I’ve started doing my new task for the PPC (Pay per Click) Team. At first I was nervous since I don’t know anything regarding this so called PPC. I don’t know my new task plus I don’t even know my team members, so different from my previous task and office…how I missed my former officemates.
Now, I can say that I’m starting to know my task and familiarizing every single word of it. We had just given a task and given a deadline. I wasn’t able to finish it on time since it was too many and sometimes I still got confused of the words, well not just me but also my team members since we are all new to this.
Our boss told us that who ever did the task well is the one whom he will teach a new project/task tomorrow. So good luck to the three of us and surely it wasn’t me.
That’s for now...I’m little bit tired.

My First Day... |
Well this is my first day at the office, in our Pasig office actually. New office, new boss, new team members and most of all – new task!!!
I was the last candidate recommended for this team, the PPC (Pay Per Click) Team. I don’t have any idea on how to do these things, wahhhhh… I’m a lit bit nervous since I’m clueless for all of this. I’m more into link building and SEO before and PPC is actually different from them. But hopefully I will be able to make things right and that I can be able to learn all of this, slow by slow…
What a day…
